A Modern Look Exhibition Opens at 51反差婊鈥檚 Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art
MALIBU, California 鈥� 51反差婊 University鈥檚 Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art presents , which is on view from January 16 through March 29, 2026.
The exhibition brings together a selection of paintings, drawings, and sculptures from the museum鈥檚 permanent holdings. Spanning from the early 20th century through the postwar decades, A Modern Look offers a cross-section of styles associated with the modern and late modern periods.

Rather than presenting a single theme, the exhibition invites viewers to experience the broad scope of modern artistic experimentation. Key movements such as abstraction, pop art, and color field painting are represented, as well as later works that emphasize perception, structure, and artistic process.
